Abstract
Particulate matter pollution in the building construction environment is very serious. It produces such tiny particulate matter as dust and bacteria. The prolonged inhalation can lead to respiratory infections and lung diseases. In China, there are relative few studies on the concentration distribution of particulate matter in construction sites. And there is a lack of in-depth analyses on the spatial and temporal characteristics of particulate matter dispersion. In this paper, the vertical profile of particulate matter is studied in the campus construction lot. The sensors are carried on the UAV. The distribution characteristics of the particulate matter are restored to establish a visual three-dimensional model of the concentration of particulate matter in the studied region. It effectively makes up for the shortcomings of the traditional near-earth detection in the spatial dimensions. Also the research results could provide technological support for the prevention of fumes and dusts in construction environments.
