In the dissemination of red culture, red revolutionary memorial halls generally have problems such as single dissemination content, traditional forms of dissemination only and lack of cultural and creative works. This paper takes the Memorial Hall of the Eighth Route Army Xi'an Office as the research object. It explores the connotation of red genes from multiple angles, refines the embodiment form of red culture in the new era, and puts forward innovative dissemination strategies and practices on the basis of analyzing the current situation and problems of its red culture dissemination, carrying out useful exploration for further expanding the depth and breadth of red culture dissemination and guiding young people to better understand the red spirit and inherit the red gene.
