This article, from an epidemiological perspective, analyzes the distribution characteristics of infectious pathogens on a global scale. It compares the current status of research on infectious diarrhea between China and the international countries from the perspectives of time series and predictive models. The article also elaborates on the measures taken by China and the international countries to prevent and control infectious diarrhea, and discusses the frontier of infectious diarrhea prevention and control technology.
